… to admire the winter-flowering pansies by my front door (I would smell the roses, but its March, and there aren’t any).
Things are pretty frantic here at the moment. After a slow end to 2018, we exploded into 2019 with 2 amazing UK trade shows then a last minute decision to exhibit at the Sydney AGHA Gift Fair. Three brilliant trade shows in the space of 7 weeks and a wonderful pile of orders screaming for our attention has left me feeling a little overwhelmed, and my body clock is all over the place!
But this sunny spring morning I was walking the dogs and it occurred to me that I really need to take the advice given to me on Instagram a couple of days ago – slow down, take a minute, appreciate and catch my breath.
And now its time for work. There are emails in my inbox from Japan and Australia, a possible new retailer in Texas, today I’m working on orders from Turks & Caicos (that’s definitely worth considering hand delivery) and Japan. Becky will be making up jewellery for customers in Suffolk and Devon. We’ve got retail orders to get in the post too.
Life is amazing, I love my job, and those pansies are just gorgeous.
Have a lovely day everybody!
