Beachy statement piece.
The Sand & Sea Disc Necklace brings together bold, beachy colours with small, carefully placed details that give the piece its character.
Each bead is individually handmade by me in my UK studio using Murano glass and traditional lampwork techniques.
I build the design up in layers, adding fine details and small handmade elements within the glass. These are the kind of details you don’t always notice straight away, but they’re what give the piece its depth and individuality.
Each disc is shaped entirely by hand, so there is always some variation in size and form. Every piece is one of a kind.
Finished on a metre length of leather thong with a sliding bead, making it a versatile piece you can wear at different lengths to suit your neckline.
If you’re choosing it as a gift, it arrives carefully packaged, with the option to add a branded gift box, and I never include an invoice inside. A small leaflet about how the beads are made is included for the recipient.
If it’s not quite right, I’m always happy to exchange it.

A note on care
Each bead is kiln annealed for strength and durability. Because of its flat, hand-shaped form, the disc is slightly more delicate than rounded beads, so do treat it with care and it will last a lifetime.
