About Us

 Julie ...

"When I  first started making glass lampwork beads in 2007 I could not have imagined how they would become a way of life for me, and take me all over the world.

Driven by an urge to make, and a desire to avoid a proper job, I learnt to control hot glass and perfect my signature beachy designs.

I love to travel, my children live in London and Amsterdam, my parents live in Spain – so that’s a whole lot of readymade adventure at my fingertips.

Many of my friends are makers and my home is full of their beautiful artworks and objects.  My two dogs keep me active and we live at the foot of the beautiful Malvern Hills in Worcestershire, England.

I may live and work far from the sea, but my coastal designs help me stay connected with my happy places, and that’s the feeling I want to share with my customers.

I want my jewellery to remind you of places you love and memories you treasure, or inspire you to take the next trip, see the world and feel the sand between your toes."

Becky ...

"I’ve loved glass all my life as Mum was a glass artist when she was younger so when this opportunity came up to join forces with Julie in 2016 I was delighted. I am awestruck by Julie’s talent and as well as being step sisters we are also best friends and we make a great team. I manage the business and make the jewellery giving Julie more time in the studio."

We now work with stockists from the Channel Isles to the Shetlands and all around the world: literally, all around the world!

Beach Art Glass jewellery can be found on the island of South Georgia (that’s practically the Antarctic!), in the Caribbean, Japan, New Zealand and in so many beautiful places in Australia – including on an exclusive resort island on the Great Barrier Reef and in the gift shop of the Australian National Maritime Museum in Sydney harbour.  What a thrill!
