This Sandstone heart combines transparent deep lavender glass with fine silver leaf, melted and worked into the surface to create its distinctive texture.
Each glass heart is individually handmade by me in my UK studio using Murano glass and traditional lampwork techniques.
I decorate the lower part of the bead with silver leaf, melting it into the glass and twisting it up into the coloured top to create my signature wave.
No two are ever exactly the same.
Finished with handmade sterling silver fittings made by my silversmith, designed specifically for my beads.
If you’re choosing it as a gift, it arrives carefully packaged with the option to add a branded gift box, and I never include an invoice inside. A small leaflet about how the beads are made is included for the recipient.
If it’s not quite right, I’m always happy to exchange it.

A note on care
Each bead is kiln annealed for strength and durability. Treat it with care and it will last a lifetime.
