About Beach Art Glass
Beach Art Glass is my small jewellery business, based in the UK, where I design and make every piece by hand.
I’m Julie Fountain, and I’ve been making glass beads since 2007, using traditional lampwork techniques and Italian Murano glass to shape molten glass in the flame. Each bead begins as a solid rod of glass and is carefully formed by hand, one at a time.
My work is inspired by the colours and movement of the sea, from soft, sandy tones to deeper ocean blues. No two pieces are ever exactly the same, which is part of what makes each one special.
Every piece of jewellery is made, finished and packed by me, so you can be confident you’re choosing something truly handmade, not mass produced.
Whether you’re buying a gift or choosing something for yourself, I want each piece to be worn, enjoyed and kept for years to come.
